When I saw the rising demand for vitamins and nutritional products by consumers, I asked myself some very probing questions. Why do people take them? Do they really work? Are they safe? Can anyone show me real science behind these products? When many different ingredients are mixed together and punched out into one tablet, is there really healthful value in it? 

The answer to the first question was obvious: people wanted to take charge of their own health by finding natural solutions to their health concerns. After studying many products in the marketplace I found the answer to the other questions was a resounding "no". I knew then that this was an opportunity to start a revolution, a health revolution. I would change that answer to a qualified "yes" by setting new standards to measure and test the benefits and safety of nutrients, and set the example with "branded" products. 

I had always wanted to start a revolution, to make a positive difference to the world. So about sixteen years ago I bought WESTAR, a vitamin manufacturing company. That was where the vision of VIVA Life Science came into being. 

I began recruiting scientists, building laboratories and investing heavily into research. Focusing on scientific disciplines in organic chemistry, biochemistry, phytochemistry, and biotechnology, VIVA Life Science has achieved results that no other supplement company can claim. We now have 14 patents and over 30 patents pending on processes and formulations. We have conducted over 20 clinical studies on our products and ingredients, investigating their efficacy and safety. 

Changing the rules of competition was not our intention or purpose.
